Please list any award, or championships, you received as either a player or a coach:  During my years at St. Anne's, my team won 4 out of 5 championships. While at Bowditch, my teams won 3 League Championships and 6 Division Championships.  Three years ago my 8th grade team finished 2nd in a middle school tournment and this season my 8th grade team took 1st place above 13 other teams from the Bay Area.  Last season, my ELITE 13 Black team finished in the top 7 in the Gold Division at Regional Championships.

What is your education background?:  I attended Lowell High School and then attended Skyline College.  I currently have an Impact Certification.

Is there any other personal experiences, or training, that you feel makes you a better coach?:  Keeping an open mind and listening to my players helps to make me a better coach.  I believe there is always going to be a better way of pursuing my goals as a coach, whether it be a technique or one's philosophy.  I take information that I feel is useful for my team to help them grow as a team as well as an individual.

What personal philosophy sitcks out the most when it comes to coaching junior club volleyball?:  CONFIDENCE-Trust it;  KNOWLEDGE-Acquire it JEALOUSY- Distance it;  SUCCESS-Achieve it;  RUMOR-Ignore it;  SMILE-Keep it;  LOVE-Value it;  EGO-Kill it;  WE-Use it;  I-Avoid it.

What is your favorite experience with the sport of vollebyall?:  Just simply watching the players grow, gain confidence and give their best effort to be a better player.

What are you currently doing if you are not coaching volleyball?:  When I am not coaching volleyball, I am an Account Manager for a firm that I have been with for the past 10+ years located in South San Francisco.  In my free time, I am usually still in a gym watching either my daughter play for her Varsity team or my son playing for his club team.  I can also be found on the soccer field cheering on my 6 year old daughter or spending time with my eldest daughter in Berkeley where she is a Sophmore at Cal.  My other favorite past times are playing tennis, skiing, and traveling with my husband.  But the moments I look forward to are movie nights with my family.
